## Description The early morning dew and fog are thick in this forest. The path rounds a bend running along the base of a hill, a sleepy village resting beside a lazy river shows itself in a clearing. This place was once a mining outpost, though the mithril veins dried up long ago. The tavern building on the right, two story, wooden, has a sign hanging, written in common with a Dwarven flourish: The Sleepy Watery Wench. The smell of a warm cooked meal wafts on the air, mixed with comforting scent of incense from the temple across the way: a juxtaposition of squat stone, long standing sentinel for the inhabitants. In the distance, the soft ringing of a blacksmiths hammer and anvil pierces the damp and cool air. ## Public Places #### Inns, Taverns, Pubs ##### [[The Sleepy Watery Wench (Tavern)]] #### Shops, Markets ##### [[The Shady Gnome (Magic Shop)]] ##### [[Bochoke the Armourer (Blacksmithing)]] ##### #### Other ###### John Anderson's Farm [[John Anderson, Farmer|John]] grows the vast majority of Hedgehaven's lavender, highly sought after by [[King Valkaran of Tehlu|King Valkaran]]. ###### Farm ###### Farm ## Notable NPCs [[Bernard Fairheight the Bard]] [[John Anderson, Farmer]] [[Foke "Barnie" Barnswaggle]] [[Stellan Quickfoot]] [[Bochoke Steelview]] ### Promises I've made There's a [[Hedgehaven Chicken Farm]], for reasons
